This random generator produces dithematic (two-part) place names like those commonly found in fantasy settings: Rivendell. Morrowind. Winterfell. Silverymoon. Stormwind. Evernight. Liverpool.

Select a number of names to generate and click the “Generate” button. That’s all there is to it!

Note that generating a new set of names will overwrite any existing ones! If you missed a name that you really wanted to keep, a log of all names generated since the page was loaded (or last refreshed) is sent to the browser console (F12 in Firefox or Chrome).
